I guess they picked a writer who got a D+ in one semester of Spanish to decode the tweets. :/ And even if the tweets don’t give the full story, maybe consider waiting until you have a full story to report before breathlessly running to the printing press (an old-timey term, I know). I had to laugh at “The A.V. Club

I would blame the AV Club’s practice of haphazardly paraphrasing Hollywood Reporter or Variety articles and often losing such vital information as “what happened and why” in the process, but in this case there doesn’t seem to be an original article to quasi-plagiarize.

It saddens me that the woman who built it, arguably the most amazing business person in the world considering what women had to (and have to) go through to succeed, is repeated dessicrated by that orange asshole.

“Actor in the Marvel universe has enjoyed being in the Marvel universe, but after 10 years, numerous movies, and a TV series, she’s fine saying goodbye to the character because there’s really not a lot left to do with the character at this point” just doesn’t have the same ring to it, I guess.

Ask not for whom the bait clicks.

Look at Barsanti out here trying to make a mountain out of something that doesn't even qualify as a molehill.

Why did I even click on this? - tilda, venus, 24/2/2013 13:50

And based on that last paragraph you didn’t want to have to write this!

The cold, unfeeling boot of capitalism.” Seriously? I’m generally anti-capitalism, but this is an entertainment outlet, not healthcare.

I’m sorry that you, as the owner of two homes, find Netflix’s desire to get revenue from you so frustrating.

At the end of the day there’s no such thing as a free lunch. If you want free movies there’s plenty of ad-driven services out there and you can always go rent a disc.

Yeah, the outrage seems pretty dumb here. I mean, if it’s just anti-capitalism I get it, but with all the other sins of capitalism to choose from, that they’re choosing to get upset that the subscription service is making people pay for their service just makes them look like a selfish baby.

How dare you make me pay for your for-pay service?!

This article really gets to the fundamental contradiction of this show: it simultaneously tries to bring artists out of the shadow of Picasso, but at the same intentionally puts all that art under his shadow, and does it to sell tickets.

“Bullied”?

I think the question at the time was whether there was really a groundswell of opposition to Apu as a character and Azaria as his voice, or if it was just a comedian looking for some publicity. Apu is probably the most upstanding citizen in Springfield - entrepreneur, family man, religious.

How else are you supposed to get to the stage at a show?”

Yeah, this incident seems to be dividing the “show up early and get a good spot” crowd from the “show up late and shove everyone out of the way to get to the front” crowd.

Well that can’t be right, Travis Scott said there was no way that a performer on stage could see something happening in the crowd, even if it was multiple people being trampled to death and ambulances being brought in.

I find that most people who say tap water is fine, never lived in a place where tap water is anything but. I live out in the sticks and sure you can drink it, but is anybody actually drinking it without running it through a filter several times and even then it is still pretty nasty tasting.
