Is this supposed to make anyone feel bad for not caring for Microsoft’s output? Because I sure don’t feel sorry for them.

Someone better plugged in and/or with a better memory and understanding can correct me, but it always seemed to me like the metaverse hysteria began in earnest when Zuckerberg rebranded his company Meta, and that seemed to me like an obviously desperate attempt to change the narrative at a time when the company was

FFS! Don’t tell servers not to comment on the food or portion size! I specifically ask for their opinion. I’d want to know if a portion size was particulary large because I have a “sharing” family - we tend to share foods and base what and how much we order on this info.

It was a warm summer evening when a Nubian, a gypsy, and a Jew walked into a small bar on the outskirts of town. They had all been good friends for years and enjoyed getting together to chat and share a drink. But tonight, they had something else on their minds.

Your worst take yet! I have to admire being able to top yourself like that.

But what an amazing instance of using-his-power-for-good this is.

That’s a fair point, and one I don’t usually remember because I’ve never liked Griner much for other reasons. But typically, the argument I see (at least, in the Jez articles) is not that Russia lied about the entire thing, but that the popular version is true and yet Griner is awesome. Granting your premise, though,

Does this make any of these people heroic? Because my argument was that Griner is no hero. I would argue that any other athlete or pop star who plays in a foreign country and decides to be blasé about its laws is no hero either. It doesn’t make anyone evil to go try to earn extra money in draconian places, but let’s

It’s a free blog that sells ad space. Chill out.

How sad that she did not defend a domestic abuser. https://bleacherreport.com/articles/2446693-brittney-griner-pleads-guilty-seeks-counseling-after-domestic-violence-arrest

Saying she shouldn’t be a hero isn’t the same thing as saying she’s awful. For my money, she’s no better or worse than any other athlete who probably goes off to earn extra money in unsavory places. I wouldn’t call any of them heroes for making that choice either, and I wouldn’t be here saying anything about Griner if

Reading is fundamental. I said that Russia’s drug laws were ridiculous, and yes, Griner should not have gone to jail for what she did. But “wrongfully imprisoned” is not the same thing as “imprisoned because of an unjust law”. I take it that you, like Jezebel, don’t know that.

So? It’s still a dated, lame out touch insult by a you, a lame out of touch weirdo of a loser on the internet that weirdly obessess over a feminist blog that no one really cares about though because of “the wimins” or whatever incel shit you do. Nice deflection though. Nice touch with the lame Aussie insults too.

Prognosis: Dumb Ass.

You do realize that it is Lady Gaga who is starring in the Joker sequel and not Gwyneth Paltrow? Because Lady Gaga does not have famous parents nor does she sell vagina candles.

You’re probably right; if so, it does drive me nuts like it’s intended to, though. There are so many LGBTQ+ people who are ACTUAL heroes, and it’s all about Ms. Too Dumb or Entitled to Google Russia or Clean My Suitcase.

I mean she’s been nominated for every major film acting award there is, and twice for most of them, so there are at least some people who disagree with you.

Yes this woman is horrible, but Jesus H. Christ, give it up on Griner. She was NOT wrongfully imprisoned, nor were the drug charges bogus. The SENTENCING may have been extreme because of who she was, and the Russian drug laws may be ridiculous in themselves, but Griner did break the law she was imprisoned for

It’s easy to be boring and nice when your real world is a fantasy in and of itself, and you’re one of the few people with power.

Seriously. SERIOUSLY.
