@afiunderground: Well, I DID say he was failing epically, LOL...
@afiunderground: By "pale" I think he meant the in the classical sense, as in "naked". Being "pale to the moonlight" is a popular literary way to say "naked in the dark", and this guy is clearly attempting to create some grand literary manifesto that will stand the test of time. He is failing epically, but this is his…
@LaComtesse: That's why emotions like guilt and regret suck so much. It's redeeming to an individual to realize a mistake, but it's also infuriating that some people think "feeling bad" is the same as "atonement".
So a man is a hypocrite. I could have told them that one, but I was lost in the great maw of humanity, and my man didn't want to stop and ask for directions.
@LaComtesse: I don't think people don't deserve a second chance, but I also don't think they get to feel to sorry for huge mistakes like, say, missing out on your child's entire life
That outfit gets her raptured right into the section of hell reserved for "clothing sacrilege". When I went to Catholic school, if you wore shorts to school on a church day you had two choices: sit in the office and wait for your parents to bring you a change of clothes, or, sit in back of the church where Jesus…
@Beat Girl [formerly Miss Carrie Nation]: No self respecting, conservative Christian man would fire off some wasted knucklechildren to porn when he could be impregnating his wife with good, Christian babies.
Aaaand the advertisers come in to help young Cosmogirls through their hardest trials.
@sarah.of.a.lesser.god (aka Mrs. BrutallyHonestHobbit): I feel bad for not thinking of this before losing mine. And that was a while back-I could have been the Original Feminist! I could have paid for college and other cool things!
@BabyJane: Don't forget the following trends, all placed uncomfortably close to one another:
As Krusty says, "KKK? That's not good..."
We've brought back the 90s and the 80s so well, it was inevitable that the fanny packs would follow.
@sylvie calls shotgun!!: I highly doubt this was controlled for. As another commenter pointed out, even the gendering of the question "which is prettier" can skew results. The same goes for the limited choice of only black and white dolls, and that no children of other races (including Caucasian) were included.
@eri401: I was thinking along similar lines. We often desire what we don't have, or don't see on a regular basis. We also desire what we see in those in power around us. A simple, uncontrolled experiment with questions that could be construed as loaded does little to give sound statistical information.
@cellophane: Ah, a statistician after my own heart!
@CloudsInMyCoffee: My Little Ponies are sorely underrepresented in fashion, politics, and film. This is often attributed to them being too afraid to cross the damn rainbow.
The remaining 26% would rather chat with friends via Webkinz and play Cooking Mama on their Nintendo DS.
You are fooling no one! NO ONE, I SAY! Everyone knows there's a jersey dress under there.
@morninggloria: Yes, I don't quite understand how she sold out the pro-choice movement.
