People that don’t own a Vita tend to assume its dead. It’s not. Anyone who has one knows that there are titles being released every month on PSN.

I'm not holding my breath for Nintendo ditching region lock. That is one aspect of gaming they consistently fail to inovate.

Maybe just to keep momentum. Pokemon Go, for better or worse has picked things up for them in a big way.

Im the same way. I know Nintendo they never met supply demands at first. They release 5 of an item it get sold out fast cause its what everyone wants. then its on ebay for 4x the price 5 months later they make a million and then you can buy one.

I wouldn’t be surprised if this is one of, if the not THE, hottest selling item around Christmas time. My wife and I have already been discussing this and I’ll probably pre-order it as well. My wife doesn’t game, but she does have fond memories of playing the NES at her aunt’s house. She has stated she would actually

That’s an understandable need to have a change of pace to stop from completely burning out on something you are passionate about.

I refuse to accept your spelling of “which” as a typo.

The only way it will “improve video quality” is if your computer is somehow dropping frames with the Flash player but can run HTML5 video without any dropped frames. Otherwise, it’s 100% dependent on the streamer’s quality settings/bitrate ceiling.

Anecdotally, most people I know don’t like that one either. Basically, it was developed by a different company, and tried to fix some of the problems of the original series...but, it went too far (“If it ain’t broke...” with a lot of the changes), and lost a lot of the fun/appeal of the game. The original ones never

It will make your experience using Twitch better, so in the way of improving how well your computer handles Twitch, it will make Twitch higher quality.

Assuming their implementation is good, this should have no effect on quality in the longterm. Ultimately, quality will still be determined by the connections, bitrate limits, and systems in between. There is nothing inherently better or worse about video quality of HTML5 video vs. Flash. (I work in advertising

That is mainly on the streamer. However right now they have a pretty strict Bitrate limit due to the limitation of their encoder servers and the flash player itself. Switching to HTML5, may, big emphasis on may, allow them to relax those limits some. For example, Youtube Gaming allows up to at least 18 Mbps (maybe

HTML5 won’t directly improve quality, but it will improve performance, which can indirectly improve quality. Also, depending on codec used, it may improve bandwidth efficiency of the stream (using less bandwidth for the same quality), which can also indirectly improve quality.

That has more to do with the streamers than with Twitch, though the service does limit what bitrate streamers can push out. It’s possible they could change that in the future.

But tablets aren’t well known for audio fidelity? I would wear bluetooth headphones that transform into Soundwave.

Sir, please don’t crack it open.

“Founders Edition” is just another way of saying “This thing is new. Do you want to spend extra money to be the first kid on the block with the new toy?”

If I remember correctly, nVidia has started calling their reference models “Founders Edition.” All the cards are going to have the same chip, but different companies sell their cards with custom fan and cooling designs. The reference model “Founders Edition” is just nVidia’s stock cooler design.

Its a mess, but as I understand it, its so they dont undercut and cannabilize the third party cards. Even though they dont usually perform as well as the 3rd party cards with better fans, I personally find the aesthetics of the jagged deus ex style polygons on the reference cards to be better looking,

Well, definitely not that leather jacket. 😂
