After they ditched the web store wish list to great annoyance because I used to do most of my shopping from my phone, I started using PSPrices.com since it shows me the current PSN prices plus physical sale prices at Amazon, Walmart, Gamestop, etc. It works just fine for PS5 AND PS4 games. And sends me emails when…
Actually, more like nine. What even is time? And I realize I forgot to say that I really enjoy the building part, hence why I would enjoy this a lot. It really would be like putting together a Lego set, where all the pieces are separated and you just have to follow the directions.
I feel like this might be just for me. I’ve been building my own PCs for close to 25 years now, but the last time I did was like six years ago. The part I always find daunting is the part where I realize I’m old, and have to figure out what the current thing is. I only know what an NVME drive is because I read the…
Yeah, a non-linear game zone-gated by abilities is pretty much every game in this day and age, whether it’s 2D platformer, 2D isometris, 3D platformer, whatever. The metroidvania descriptor means pretty much nothing at this point.
In this case, the script. I enjoyed it a lot, already being a fan of the books and everything else, but the dialog was very sparse. Villaneuve went out of his way to remove exposition wherever possible. Personally, I think Chalamet does a fantastic job of facial emoting in the silent spaces where the dialog doesn’t…
I feel like you could replace capitalism with just about anything and the headline would still work. Twitter and the internet echo chamber is just the worst.
https://www.reddit.com/r/PS3/comments/py6kx3/cant_play_or_download_digital_ps_titles_on_ps3/ Actually, I take that back, I found a single Reddit thread about it, so at least I know I’m not the only one. But my fear is that they broke something on the back end, and because they were just going to close it anyway,…
While officially they aren’t, has anyone actually tried to download anything on their PS3 (I’m asking mostly rhetorically), because for the last two weeks I’ve just been getting an Authorization Error code that doesn’t show up in Google, whenever I try to download a previously purchased game? Granted, I haven’t…
Eh, guess that not a link then... whatever.
If the “sand walking” doesn’t look like this, I feel like the complete memeworthiness of the thing will be lost.
Sounds like it’s probably an open standard with the RealID stuff. Tell somebody on the Android team to get on it.
I did not take apart a PS3, so I don’t know how much more complicated that is. I just know the PS4 was really easy, which I guess comes down to the fact the PS4 and beyond are mostly just PC APUs at their heart.
It’s amazing what a difference scraping out the old cheap thermal pad and a good dab of Arctic Silver made to the way my PS4 Pro runs. I hear all the complaints and I’m like, “this Youtube video, 30 minutes, and a couple of bucks will fix it right up better than new.” But I get it, you shouldn’t have to do that, and…
The lack of a map until you find the map guy in Hollow Knight was infuriating. I’m like, just going to draw my own map then, and if I have to draw my own map to find the map guy, then why do you even have a map, what’s the point?
Those look and sound fantastic, is true. I feel bad that I dipped on the second one because it was kind of annoyingly hard for me. Not that it didn’t play well, but everything felt like a bullet sponge and took way too many hits to kill, making traversal back and forth a chore until I just got annoyed and quit…
Honestly I feel like that about every 2.5D game. There’s something about the contrast between the backgrounds and 3D foreground that always makes the latter stand out overly much. It makes it much easier to tell what in the foreground you can actually interact with and that’s good, but it makes everything look weird.
I like reading about weird shit. Get on it! 07
Yup, if it wasn’t for this article right here, I wouldn’t know there was a new Stream Deck at all. Not that it matters to me anyway, but still...
I’m on Ultros and there’s a huge influx of new players. It’s not just the towns, there are people out in the noob zones actually playing all over the place and it kind of makes me happy, as somebody who’s played off and on since the ARR launch.
