It’s amazing what a difference scraping out the old cheap thermal pad and a good dab of Arctic Silver made to the way my PS4 Pro runs. I hear all the complaints and I’m like, “this Youtube video, 30 minutes, and a couple of bucks will fix it right up better than new.” But I get it, you shouldn’t have to do that, and

The lack of a map until you find the map guy in Hollow Knight was infuriating. I’m like, just going to draw my own map then, and if I have to draw my own map to find the map guy, then why do you even have a map, what’s the point?

Those look and sound fantastic, is true. I feel bad that I dipped on the second one because it was kind of annoyingly hard for me. Not that it didn’t play well, but everything felt like a bullet sponge and took way too many hits to kill, making traversal back and forth a chore until I just got annoyed and quit

Honestly I feel like that about every 2.5D game. There’s something about the contrast between the backgrounds and 3D foreground that always makes the latter stand out overly much. It makes it much easier to tell what in the foreground you can actually interact with and that’s good, but it makes everything look weird.

I like reading about weird shit.  Get on it!  07

Agreed in a way. The decommissioning of Kamino was (in my mind) sort of a metaphor for the finality of the clone era in general, finally being able to move past that part of Star Wars lore. So it being the end of ALL clones would feel more powerful. But, I get it.

Mamoa comes across as a frat bro who hits on your partner at the bar, then fights the bouncer when they ask him to leave when they cut him off.

Yup, if it wasn’t for this article right here, I wouldn’t know there was a new Stream Deck at all.  Not that it matters to me anyway, but still...

I’m on Ultros and there’s a huge influx of new players. It’s not just the towns, there are people out in the noob zones actually playing all over the place and it kind of makes me happy, as somebody who’s played off and on since the ARR launch.

I too have my nefarious sources and I agree it is indeed fantastic.

I had a 93 Mustang (the one with the tiny 4 cylinder) that also had the 85mph speedometer. Was it good or bad that I could honestly answer, “No sir, I don’t actually know how fast I was going because the speedometer doesn’t go that high?”

Time for a Fantasia!

Oh interesting, my Comcast modem supports MOCA, I saw it in the settings, but didn’t actually know what it was.  At this point, I’ve already invested in mesh anyway, but the more you know.

I sure hope the Podcast update fixes the bugs they introduced in the last major update to the app. Ever since the graphical update a few back (can’t remember exactly), every time I pick a podcast off of the Up Next list, it marks all the other podcasts on the list as Played and they disappear from the list. And then I

Is Pikachu now a slave to that lighthouse?  He can never leave or the ships will crash and everyone will die.

I thought it was fine, but severely disappointing when it ended, knowing that if there were more mummy it would be Tom Cruise instead of Sofia Boutella.

Apparently I got Kinjaed once again and the Continue Reading button didn’t show up on my phone.  Now that I’m on my laptop I see I missed half the silly article.

Oh, wow, really? Because I was basically thinking the same thing about your wife’s Apple Watch, but about my kid’s Airpods.  I assumed it was a way to get you to buy a dozen more wireless charging doodads.

That’s my question not answered in the article: I assume you have to charge these somehow?

I’m the other way around. I’m the monster that likes the sprites on the FFV/VI mobile ports and smeary blur on the Chrono Trigger and Grandia Steam releases. I played those games originally on an old tiny CRT when they were new, where they were so blurry and smooshed to the point the pixels were nigh invisible and the
