I learned “inverted” is correct from the terrible NES Top Gun game.  Haven’t been able to break it since.

I always trade mine forward. I’ve been Marie Kondoing for decades before I heard her name. The only outliers so far is that I have a couple of DS Lites for some reason or another, and I still have my PS3 Slim.

Considering I have to blow what feels like at least a millimeter layer of red clay out of my PC every month or so, I was honestly surprised and impressed at how clean my Pro was when I opened it up, considering it just sits on the other side of the room. Other than a couple of spots on the plastic case that had picked

My personal feeling is that they are a much nicer, chunkier, heavier plastic and are mostly painted in nice matte tones, whereas I found Amiibos to feel kind of cheap and too glossy looking.

Ugh... I just realized this is a repost from years ago, but man, I still have a bucket of these guys on the shelf in the living room. I’ve played through the playsets as much as I care to and will never boot the game up again. But the figures... I keep looking at the bucket, thinking I should take the ones I like the

or as part of an automatic ban on any console recognised as logging in to multiple accounts in a single day. Because that’s never not dubious.

I’ll be honest, I’m enjoying your responses to myself mostly just being stupidly hyperbolic. That’s crazy to me about the disrupted paste thing though. I imagine most consoles get bumped around like that before they even get to retailers, just being tossed around on pallets or whatever.  Nobody has ever gently

I didn’t say it got any warmer either. :P

I feel like I’m second guessing myself since I don’t have it anymore, but I distinctly remember mine having buttons I had to actually push in, kind of similar to the Pro’s but vertical. Maybe I’m making it all up, who knows.

Lol, Kinja is such a mess, no worries.

I mentioned it above, but it has/had severe overheating issues. I repasted the processor and it’s been great ever since, but the cheap pre-formed thermal pad they used wasn’t dissipating into the heat sink at all best I could tell. The fan would just run non-stop while the processor didn’t actually get any cooler.

I had a Destiny edition, a Pro, and a Slim. The Slim is solid as a rock. They finally, thankfully, figured out the bugs by that version.

I had the white Destiny PS4 and it must’ve been a weird in-between-between version. It had physical buttons for the power and eject instead of the capacitive-touch button everyone says was on their 1st gen units and so that being said, I actually never really had any issues with it.

At least the Pro and X were iterative years later devices. The one that blows my mind is to release the Series S and X at the same time, talk about the teraflops, how the X is 5% faster than the PS5, and then last minute, oh but it’ll all end up being constrained by how powerful it’s dumb little brother is instead

The thing I still don’t get is, why haven’t they taken a Surface tablet, repackaged it with an XBox logo, given it some kind of mobile controller setup and attempted to compete with the Switch, given this whole gaming on anything anywhere platform they have going?

Cloud won the roll for being first to die. I guess in this case it’s a merciful death.

There may not be a whole lot of stuff on the internet that needs it, but there’s a whole bunch of pro AV gear that still requires it to get to the configuration interface. I’m looking at you specifically, Shure Dante network microphones and Crestron video switchers.  A lot of time it’s flakey enough that it only wants

I’m maybe not the best example, but I watched all the late night TFTC and the movies the cartoons from the reply below were based on, plus stuff like Nightmare on Elm Street, Friday 13th, Alien, Predator, etc in elementary school. The only thing I actually remember being frightened by was the librarian from the

It’s probably the only thing I’ll remember about anyone, seeing as I meet everyone with masks on at this point.
