I think my point here is that attempting to ‘gate keep’ the definition of Science Fiction to being that of ‘hard’ science fiction or rather something that requires some level of ‘real science’ to be involved is a mistaken one.

I also barely include Ray Bradbury in science fiction. With one or two exceptions, his works included about as much science as Lord of the Rings. So prunes and japanese coffee are about right.
