I thought the movie was very well done and, tonally, it takes its cues from the original, but modernizes it a bit for sensibilities that have changed in 35 years. For example, the scenes seemed a bit shorter, but it’s not like they were Michael Bay fractional second cuts. Obviously, it looks different due to decades…
