Aside from the obvious, the thing that struck me about the article was the sexism. Jane Sanders is a smart woman with a PhD who has held a number of responsible jobs in her lifetime. Somehow she comes across as the very junior partner in their (private and financial) life together.

Poor Politico. Now that Edward-Isaac Dovere has left and taken his series of thinly sourced hit pieces on Bernie over to The Atlantic, the Politico editors need to find someone to take his place.

I thought I was pretty cynical, but I’m actually kind of shocked by a couple of your points. Do you really see so little difference among the Dem candidates that it doesn’t matter which becomes the nominee? And is personal ambition the only motivation you recognize in the candidates?
