I totally and completely agree! You hit it right on the nose in saying that she doesn't elevate the scenes as a straight woman. I'm not sure if it's how she is written or her acting (non)skills… but her scenes always seem to be a little flat to me.

I've always thought she has the kind of face where she never looks happy. Not even when she smiles. Poor gal.

Oh I SO hate that song, too! I, also, turn off the sound when the song is on - or fast forward if not watching live.
