I think this ending was obvious as soon as Vanessa’s hometown episode aired. It seemed clear she wanted to remain in Canada and he wanted to be in California. How can you make something work long term if you can’t agree where to eventually live?

It’s not worth it if you are close to causing 14 accidents to save yourself those 3-5 minutes, though.
It is unbelievably annoying. I wish it would stop.
It’s not supposed to be, but it’s tacitly accepted. Newbies are railing against it but I don’t think anything will change. http://www.philly.com/philly/columnists/stu_bykofsky/broad-street-median-parking-do-gooders-old-timers-and-a-hot-potato-20170726.html
Exactly. Or heck, I’d rent it and pee on the mattress myself.
I never ever tire of watching that sequence. :)
Done and done! Thank you for the links.
I am on board too! I adore Kid A with every fiber of my being. Please count me in alongside You and Whose Army. (Yes, from Amnesiac, but I still think of it as Kid B.)
I literally cannot comprehend the cojones or the mental gymnastics one has to have to undergo a fight against cancer with a taxpayer-subsidized health care plan whilst simultaneously making sure other less privileged Americans will go bankrupt and die if they face the same fate. Is that oversimplifying it? Maybe. But…
It is usually super quiet here. Seeing quiet country roads I’ve driven often on national news is more than a little jarring.
We had a self-uniting ceremony (“officiated” by my husband’s cousin) and it was kickass. Short, sweet and to the point, and I made sure to end it with “Now let’s go eat!”
Denny’s! When I saw the South Park episode where the “goth” kids were sitting at Denny’s and only ordering coffee I thought they were showing a bio of my teenage years. Granted, I didn’t drink coffee at the time. I probably drank root beer. Ah, skinny youth. We mostly threw sugar packets at each other.
I keep hearing and sometimes reading people rave about Halo Top, so when I got a coupon from the grocery store for a free pint I thought about buying some. Then I looked at the ingredients. Stevia (makes me sick to my stomach)? Erythritol (what even is that, and it ends in -ol so I can’t imagine it’s good)? No thanks.…
I am sorta-kinda trying to move (really need to get my act together regarding selling my existing place first) and it feels like 80% of the houses I look at online have that rug or the turquoise version of it.
I have learned so much from Shade Court! Thank you for making Friday afternoons even more fun, and best of luck to you.
I read recently that Fox Business is gaining on CNBC; I guess there’s a market for unfair and unbalanced business news. http://www.philly.com/philly/business/Comcast-owned-CNBC-facing-a-big-threat-from-Fox-Business-bill-OReilly-ailes-roger-maria-bartiromo.html
Several GOP friends on Crapbook have linked to this poor baby’s story as a reason why “healthcare for all” won’t work. Ugggggh. So one rare disease means f*ck everyone else? Oooookay then.
I’d definitely agree it’s better to be safe than sorry. Though at least where I come from, the people behind you seem to think you’re better off putting yourself at risk if it means they might also make it through the intersection before the light changes. Eyeroll.
Exactly. Who is going to pay good money to hang out in what is essentially North Alabama, unless they are also going to State College to get drunk?
