I’ve watched three episodes of The Crown and I keep thinking I need to watch more because I hear so many great things, but it seems to move at such a glacial pace. I know Mad Men was pretty slow too, except they had Roger Sterling to spice things up. :D

I listen to XPN almost exclusively at this point, so the only song I thoroughly know on this list is Adele. I’ve heard the Bruno Mars song a few times out and about or on Spotify.

That goes double for Hallmark Christmas movies. GAAAAH MAKE IT STOP! I don’t understand who in their right mind would watch a marathon of Christmas movies in effing OCTOBER.

Ditto. My sister insisted I have one at my wedding. It took me approximately .02 seconds to think of one since (in my v. humble opinion) I have a very cool last name. But to channel my disdain, I had a little sign that said “If you MUST hashtag, may we suggest #<sillythingithoughtof>.”

I’m right there with you. I keep gnashing my teeth over friends/relatives who voted for Trump posting “b-b-but I’m not racist” on Crapbook, followed by opinions in my local city’s paper (also from Trump voters) saying “You calling me racist is racist!!!!1111"

Maybe I am reading too much into what you’re saying, but asking for basic rights to be respected for marginalized groups doesn’t seem to be the same as a bludgeon to me.

I thought my state would go blue and it didn’t. I dug into my local numbers and it looks like my town was evenly split. Ugh.

I feel so alone today. It feels like a breakup, or when my team lost the Super Bowl, but 1000x worse because it will be rubbed in my face daily for the next four years.

Pure poetry! I installed the Detrumpify extension months ago - which replaces references to Trump on news websites with your glorious descriptions! - and it’s one of the only things that’s gotten me through this hell of an election season. (Also: wine.)

My polling place was pretty crowded as well. My husband talked almost the entire time we were in line; I was mostly stone faced and silent. I did scowl two separate times when two different older men walked past us after voting, each shouting “Vote Trump!” or something similar.

I’m a former cashier and I am very efficient with the self- checkout, so you bet your ass I’m taking my full cart into self-checkout vs. the teenagers who cram every item on top of my bag of tortilla chips.
