YES. People at my wedding will be drunk, they will be fed and they will have chairs to sit in. This is what’s important - not some WASPy bullshit about how I am “tacky” for wanting a sunset cruise with my new husband instead of a mixer.

If someone’s outright begging for money/asking for enough to cover meals, I wholeheartedly agree that it’s not a good idea and I get the side-eyed responses. And people who think the registry has to underwrite their whole honeymoon - um, no. No one deserves a vacation. There’s no good way to ask those questions.

I probably spend a little too much time on some of the wedding boards, but some people also feel entitled to tell you how to set up your registry all in the name “etiquette” because not being “rude” “tacky” or “gross” seems to be the first commandment.

Heck yes! I spent what felt like days sifting through dresses/designers online and I kept coming back to Maggie Sottero, and I ended up getting one of her dresses. It’s exactly what I wanted and the price wasn’t obscene.

I found a dress for under $1500 not at a David’s Bridal and I loooooove it. And it’s not a weird (sorry, that’s just how I see them) Pnina either! I lucked out with a nice consultant at the store and I think it made all the difference.

I did not know until today that there was a Phil Collins JoJo cover AND an Anita Baker JoJo cover. I am melting. This is gloriously good.
