UGGGGHHHH NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.
UGGGGHHHH NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.
I just sent mine out this week. I'm a huge Pats fan. I wish I had this idea. :)
I had a semi-public proposal too, in the cafe where we ended our first date. It wasn't very crowded, so it felt just right. Had the place been filled to the brim, I might have passed out and then said yes in private.
They don't just funnel - they full on create an account for you! It's crap. I created a nest BEFORE I was engaged (scandal!) and I have no plans on ever having a bump, unless you count the one I've already created thanks to wine and chocolate.
The Gnat! Oh, that is so perfect.
Don't ever join. Apparently joining one site automatically subscribes you to all of them, as I learned when I tried to log into The Bump after receiving a strange email to my Knot account. My login worked, and the splash page said I am 4 weeks pregnant. News to me!
I'm using another song he wrote for a former wife ("You're My Home") as our first dance. So I do take this article with a grain of salt, as it were.
I stayed at the Gaylord in Maryland 5 years ago for work and had some sweet, sweet pre-marital lovin' with a gorgeous guy. And I was on birth control. I soiled your precious event space, CPAC! Mwahaha!
You'd get at least $30k for Newtown!!
Yes I am! The hotel I ended up with is minutes from the Trenton airport. :)
I thought I would have to get a hotel in Quakertown (the lady was bright and cheery - "We have all kinds of rooms!") It's sorta close to the venue but much too far from the majority of the local guests (mostly coming from southern Bucks, Philly, South Jersey and the like.)
Not yet, but most of my guests are within driving distance. I imagine maybe half a dozen might fly in.
Yes, I also assumed this and thought maybe it was a 90s one hit wonder nostalgia kick.
September 25th bride here. Thanks, Pope Francis, for contributing to my first wedding breakdown! I called several area hotels immediately after the news broke (silly me thought I would be able to wait until, say, after Christmas for the hotel task) and was turned down over and over again. These weren't Center City…
Agreed!!
5 miles from NE Philly - it's Bensalem. (I grew up near there.)
I was happily chuckling through this article until I reached the Lurlene McDaniel part. It is always too soon for a "joke" like that.
Yes! This article could not be more timely. I received an email today from the planner at my venue with a PDF regarding flowers through the caterer's 'floral arm.' Sure, it sounds convenient and all, but...$2,000+?!?!? My stomach dropped.
I want to give more stars to this.
Thirded! Sue is the best.
