I follow Bravo and Andy Cohen on FB, and they posted his ‘Jackhole’ of the day from last night: condemning the desecration of the cemetery. In the comments, a woman blamed it on the Left, mad because Hillary lost (and 4 people liked it). My comment: if you agree with everything Trump says, did you send your sympathies

Because women’s sizes fit women better? I know a men’s t shirt is cut different than a woman’s t shirt.

Nope. Google it. The second hit is from Beliefnet.com (I am Old and don’t know how to link). That’s what the Evangelicals believe: that in order for the Rapture, the Jews need to be living in Israel. According to their interpretation, it IS in the Book of Revelations. Thus the GOP is heavily invested in Israel and

And last week a friend shared something that was posted from her kids’ camp counselor’s Facebook: someone drew on an erase board on his door: a crematorium, complete with smoke rising from a chimney and stick figures being marched toward it by another stick figure with a gun. A huge swastika and ‘Nazis Rule!’

I think I love Taffy. She and Caity have written some amazing celeb profiles.

Oh yeah? I’ll see you ‘Bring it on’ and I’ll raise you ‘Wildcats’, a Goldie Hawn movie from 1986. I don’t think they filmed it at my high school (Lane Tech), but they did use the football stadium!

The new Trump hotel brand is called Scion (get it?) because no one is going to want to knowingly give Trump Hotels their money, and they know it.

Jared Kushner was involved in writing the Holocaust statement that somehow left the word Jew out (at least according to Spicer’s hint). And then there was the whole ‘post a picture in fancy clothes while refugees aren’t allowed in the country’ thing.

Yes, but she’s not FLOTUS, that’s why it’s distasteful.

I’ve already seen the Bowling Green Massacre referenced on my Senator’s FB page. Of course I corrected it, as did several others. Doesn’t matter, I guess ‘alternative facts’ are here to stay.

Literally, a shondeh fur die goy.

I think that Bannon specifically waits for Shabbat to get Trump’s attention without interference from Jared. The Kushners are going to have to decide if they can continue to keep Shabbat or be at the WH 24/7. And neither will be a perfect response.

It would be a stretch for me to be all “yeah for playing a made up journalist in a movie remake” like this was ACTUALLY DOING SOMETHING. Be an activist (or not, I don’t care) by doing something, not promoting your role in a movie.

I read a Jewish parenting blog (Kveller) on FB. While it’s not the best writing, I do enjoy it from time to time. They have published pro and con Ivanka articles, to outrage from both sides. As of yet, I’ve not seen an article about this particular issue: Jared and Ivanka are Orthodox Jews, and yet the statement

It was pointed out that Trump’s crazy started on Friday night/Saturday morning, which is Shabbat, which means Jared and Ivanka were unavailable. I think they need a Rabbi’s exception that they need to be able to use a phone to deal with Trump on Shabbat.

As a Chicagoan, I agree! Looking forward to showing my kids the movie (on request at the library...)

The only thing I feel badly for is that it was done so publicly. There is no pretending anymore that ‘no one has more respect for women than I do’. Or that they have a happy marriage.

He tells her what to do, and she does it. Remember when she told George Stephanopolous that she wasn’t going to give speeches, and then Donald said “actually, she’s going to do two big speeches”, catching her and George off guard (she ended up doing one, the cuber bullying one). There was no reason for her to go on

I know it’s petty, but I agree!

That is the worst picture I’ve seem in my entire life.
