Agreed- I do the same thing- I value buy the Acura, get underwhelmed and go back to a BMW. On paper Acura seems like a can’t miss- but then the engine, sub-par transmission, electronics and overall feel remind me that it is not a BMW. Just a gussied up Honda- which isn’t bad- unless its at luxury car prices.

Its funny fuel companies aren’t complaining that they can’t fill the CEO position- offering 10-20 milllion dollars (not including stocks/options/addl pay) per year somehow gets them applicants.

Would you like to have “non-technical” people drive 80,000 lb vehicles with 12,000 gallons of flammable liquids on highways next to you?  Then offload said flammable liquid while there are dozens of idling vehicles nearby.

Driver was either very lucky or very skilled. Tire went right down the middle- most likely saved both people. 12 inches either side- only one would have survived.
