Loving the PC version so far... yep QTE is a bit annoying but not horribly bad.

Somenerd85, you have summed up almost all my statements today in a very concise reply. I owe you a beer.

She does if the company she works for is owned by EA... which Maxis is. That's how subsidiaries work. Most time you have subsidiaries for marketing, tax, and/or legal reasons but they are still subject to decision made by parent companies. Remember EA controls the purse strings. I like Taco Bell, KFC and Pizza Hut

"She is a Maxis employee, not EA"

I want to agree with you I do... but at the end of the day EA has not always made the most reputable decisions for consumers (I don't like to see the Maxis logo and think "EA"). So I will remain skeptic and I think it's reasonable to do so.

While I respect Bradshaw, she is a Maxis Employee it's in her best financial interest that potential consumers believe her and get on board. Unless there is irrefutable empirical evidence, I will not believe it and neither should you. I'm not gonna take an employee's statement as fact, no way is it unbiased.

"I'd love to see a desktop run millions of simulations at the same time while rendering such crisp and beautiful graphics."

I have to say if it is that resource intensive, which I highly doubt, Then why not let allow gamers with more powerful rigs to do those calculations client side? Or even put in a less system resource demanding version of it for offline modes. It's not adding up.

It does in this case... Maxis has stated on numerous occasions that players can play an entire region on their own which raises the question: "Then why do I have to be online again?"

I'm on that boat too... my damn net connection is too unstable

100% agreed

^lol well said.

I'm ok with that on the following conditions: 1.) I can choose to play solo w/o any outside input. 2.) This "Seamless Transition" is not used as a poor excuse for always online DRM.

I would like that... years of getting yelled at by my parents in Spanish have finally paid off!

Dude It would be so cool just imagine it...

Really? I have not seen it. Link please.

My only concern is if you don't have the translator "installed" but you happen to speak said language will the game allow you to respond or will your character say " Sorry I don't speak [insert language]."

I'm a little hesitant on the PC version of Tomb Raider because I have not seen any reviews on that specific version. However, Nixxes is working on the PC version and they did a solid job with Deus Ex: Human Revolution and Hitman Absolution.
