Off topic: I loved Battlestar Galactica’s ending.

This car is ancient! Who would wanna drive it?

that’s exactly it.

And as someone who REALLY wants to play Super Metroid and Final Fantasy 6 again but doesn’t have the space to hook up my NES and SNES, backwards compatibility is a strong convenience.

This very disconnect is the very reason I am super greatful for the emulation community. I can play all the classics upscaled that I didnt get to play when I was young. If this was possible through psnow I would totally sub to have access to a ps1 and ps2 library.

We can disagree over whether we find the low-polygon Gran Turismo games appealing—they strike no nostalgic nerve in me, but you might feel the same way about the simple pixels of Super Mario Bros.

“Understandable enough, but then he goes on: “That, and I was at a Gran Turismo event recently where they had PS1, PS2, PS3 and PS4 games,” he continued, “and the PS1 and the PS2 games, they looked ancient, like why would anybody play this?”

For one thing, they look just fine on the handheld system you guys make

He should probably ask why people will pay 10x the price for a little box that plays even “worse” looking NES games. Fun games are fun. A game can have the sweetest graphics and be the biggest pile of poo. Sell us your classics Sony. We will buy them. Again and again. Most likely again.

The New 3DS was released only 3 years ago

You do realize there is a slider on the 3DS, with which you can disable the 3D effect, yes? The 3D effect is fantastic on many games, but you never were forced to use it if you didn’t want to.

You do know that the 3D effect can be turned off on any 3DS, right?

The internet was famously slow in 1862.

Yep. Mine got pushed to Tuesday, and I pre-ordered in January. *sigh*

Wow, you are hilarious! Seriously, you are so fucking funny. Your comedic genius is mind-boggling, and I sit here wondering how anyone could be so clever and edgy all in one post. Bra-vah, video game sir or madam. Bra-VAH!

Amazon has already gone through two sets of pre-order stock for the Switch, so I don’t know why you’d think that.

Not really, styluses exist for capacitive touch screens as well, and they work just fine with them (if not better, because they usually glide more smoothly).

So true. I never had a bad experience in the Miiverse, but I dread even saying Xbox/PSN online “community.”

It has a multi-touch screen, actually.
