I was on a date and he suggested we see Brave. I could barely enjoy it because the relationship dynamic between Merida and her mother was the same as mine and my mom's….who was killed a few months before. I'm still surprised I didn't run out of the theater crying and nauseous.

Trippy. As. Fuck.

I was dabbing away at my eyes in a room full of first graders and I am not ashamed.

Watership Down was one of those tapes my mom picked out for me and though I watched it all, I was still like "What the hell is this??? Rabbits and blood?" At the time, both this and The Last Unicorn were pretty out there for me but now those are some of my favorite animated films.

Maybe I'm a fan of the deeply unsettling, but I loved it and was sad that I missed it when it originally aired. Plus Jack Jones??? Nothing but this could ever get me to like folksy music but dammit Over the Garden Wall did it.

McHell.

Which is why my dad is always adamant about ordering drinks "light on the ice." Then he gets mad when the two ice cubes melt and his drink is lukewarm…

Same. I also had the VHS of Honey I Blew Up the Kid with the Little Richard "On Top of Spaghetti" music video at the end. so random, yet so memorable

I loved Mary Martin's as a kid; of all the Peter Pan movies it was the only one I had on VHS, Raisinets commercial included and all..

Though I really enjoyed Inception I've always felt that it was ripped off of Paprika, especially considering that what the late Satoshi Kon was able to do with anime not just in artistry but with captivating plots and character development, it's just like "how could you?" Making a "blackwashed" (who made that

There was the The Name Game bit in S2 (which fit); in S3 -Stevie Nicks, if there were others I don't remember; and in the last season, Lana Del Rey, David Bowie, Fiona Apple and Nirvana covers despite it being set in the 50s

Really hoping Angela Bassett is utilized more this season; her Freak Show storyline was meh at best, plus her & Michael Chiklis? Now THAT is a damn horror story.

I felt the same about the 1st season for the reasons you stated, plus I felt like they could've done more with the flashbacks which they did with Asylum. I hope there's no more musical interludes, I hate musicals I didn't sign up for.

The situation I'm referring to is his marriage to Sam Taylor-Johnson (directed him in Nowhere Boy) and how that came about. Kind of anti-climactic to see him on screen with 15 year old Georgia Groome when in reality…..just creeped me out but to each his own I guess.

One series I'd hoped to seen adapted eventually was A Great and Terrible Beauty. I had avoided reading it for so long because I assumed it was some sappy, period romance. The fantasy aspect was a nice take plus I'm a sucker for Victorian-era anything.

Such a good film though I never had the chance to read the books. was heart broken after finding out about Aaron Taylor-Johnson's…situation.

Maybe a brooding 13 y.o., maybe. In this day and age that's not impossible to find.

!!! I'm not even a fan and have been wondering the same thing.

Ugh I have never been so bored in my life. Watched the dub by chance and only perked up when I heard Mariska Hargitay's voice.

I really hate child actors. Much of it translates to = "this kid is able to be super serious, cuss and play a baby prostitute while gulping down Johnnie Walker! OSCAR!"
