Finally finished New Vegas, reloaded old saves and finished the endgame a few different ways. It was a great game, and I enjoyed the ~100 hours I put into it, but I don't think I'll ever need to replay it!

It must've been one of those Obamacare Diversity Fad Hires.
Tee hee hee. "This diversity fad"!
I, too, enjoy getting fuckin fucked up. Right now I'm only damn fucked up, unfortunately.
I love the Sunday Candy video (https://www.youtube.com/wat…, even though it's not as technically mind-blowing as most of the ones on this list.
I don't know, I've said a lot of stupid, embarrassing shit online in my years. I even used to be a Libertarian (please don't find my Angelfire page). But I've never posted jokes calling women whores or whatever. This argument reminds me of stuff I heard after one of the many racist-frat controversies, when people were…
Eww. Plus they're not even jokes!
I have played a lot of new games with great soundtracks over the last few years, even some that have made my "best game soundtracks" playlist — Fez, Bastion, Hotline Miami, you know, all the usual suspects — but I still couldn't really hum the tunes of any of them on demand. Like others are saying, I think the…
My dad was a pastor, and no secular music was allowed in the house. So I had a ton! Downward Spiral, Portrait of an American Family, Ready to Die, Dookie, every other vaguely subversive early '90s album… dubbed onto cassettes that I put in Carman and Stephen Curtis Chapman cases.
Oh no, that's definitely a plus for me. I love short, unique games that make an impression but don't drag it out. Thirty Flights of Loving comes to mind too.
Hope you enjoy it. I found it really disturbing and I'll never play it again. I loved it!
I downloaded the static speaks my name too! Hoping to play it this weekend.
Spec Ops: The Line is probably my favorite adaptation of Heart of Darkness. It's probably more rewarding if you're playing it with that in mind. It's definitely a "message" game.
That said, it's not one-note. **PRETTY MILD SPOILERS** by the end of the game you're less sure about what's real at all. Most of the time…
16-bit era games for me, same as some comments below. Specifically Final Fantasy VI — not only do I know every secret/treasure chest/etc., I basically have every line of dialogue memorized. I can even play most of the music! Okay, yeah, I guess I'm obsessed.
I loved, loved the one that takes place at Big Mountain with all the scientists and stuff. (I am terrible with names.) The one with the long road and all the warheads was pretty cool too. Maybe this one is just suffering by comparison.
I also got a current-gen smartphone for the first time! So I downloaded a few games. Played Fallout Shelter for a few hours until I realized that I had basically experienced everything the game had to offer. Played Plants vs. Zombies 2… I think I'll keep this one, but I miss the original's simplicity: you choose your…
I'm kind of stuck in New Vegas. I'm pretty close to the end of the story, but didn't want it to end, so I started working through all the DLC. I'm near the end of the Sierra Madre casino one, don't know what it's called, and… I just can't find the will to go on. The overwhelmingly monochrome palette just bums me out.…
Sold!
And this Pedantic Editor Type would know!
As one of the Nation's Dads, I'd like to say that this is more grandpa territory.
