Are you going to continue this as a regular feature?  Outside Inventory and Streaming Guides, there’s not much in the way of regular features around here anymore.  It would be nice to see some more longer-form writing here that goes beyond a hot take or a simple thesis.

i did a ‘every bond watch’ for the first time after skyfall came out. i was a little hesitant about the early stuff, but i remember being immediately like ‘oh wow that’s a movie star’ as soon as connery came onscreen. it’s wild.

Listen, we can have a reasonable -- or in some places very unreasonable -- conversation about how good The Last Jedi is or is not, but to call it the best Star Wars movie when Empire exists is just silly. 

The take is ALWAYS “this would have been so much better than what we got!” Which completely ignores Sturgeon’s law.

I had the same issues with the Clone Wars, but once you get past the awkwardness of the 2 hour movie and the first season there’s some pretty effective story-telling going on, especially in season 3 and beyond.

No, it looks bad that a bunch of greedy companies worth billions (or in a couple of cases trillions) of dollars have kept the industry on strike for close to four months now.

Given that he’s a grifter of the highest order, and also obviously not all that smart, I predict he’s going to steal his eventual destination from Crazy Rich Asians, and it’s going to be “planned” for a cargo container ship in International waters.

I don’t blame her for not telling Yoda, she very much mistrusts the Jedi and for good reason.  Yoda had been making the wrong choices for years at that point, I wouldn’t trust him to make the right one either.

I’m just really not looking forward to the day a decade from now when Tom Breihan has to release a Stereogum Number Ones entry about this piece of shit. (Remember Tom and his awesome columns on this site back when it used to produce quality content? Ah, the good old days...)
