David Zaslav has tirelessly fought for the value of art over commerce, so we are definitely in good hands here. 

For all its goofiness, “U Talkin’ U2 2 Me” really did nail that their biggest problem is they’ve backed themselves into a corner to where every album they put out has to be HUGE and it really rattles them if it misses. I think they honestly just don’t know what to do anymore.

When I saw them for the Joshua Tree 30th anniversary tour, looking at the crowd I actually thought “Man when did all these old coots start listening to U2? Oh, wait . . . “

Here’s the thing: they always claim they have a whole other album they recorded honest it’ll be out later. Then they never do it. It’s so frustrating. 

I worked at a company IBM bought, stripped for parts and data, and then got rid of everyone who worked there. Our marching orders were to train IBM’s AI how to do our jobs. It was a performance expectation. So, in essence, the orders were “You need to train our AI to do your job so we can fire you, or you are fired.”
