I really really really want to see French Connection. Don Ellis, one of my favorite jazz artists, wrote the score. Dude was nuts; quarter tone trumpet, ring modulators, echoplexes, odd time signatures… He was basically the Community of jazz. Unnecessarily complex over time becoming the normalcy.
