Hello! As a former Hill person, two things:

CNN posted the video of the Obamas playing with the kids on the swings, and it is one of my favorite PBO videos to date. One of the kids yells, “It’s Barack Obama!” with such joy when she sees him. Pretty much the exact opposite reaction from the kid who said “I’m scared, I’m scared, I’m scared,” when Trump walked…

Every time there is an opportunity to lay bare his incompetence and fundamental indecency, and to point out the behavior rendering him unsuitable for public office, I will do it.

Challenge for the next 4 years: Find a story about Donald Trump where ‘this is horrifying’ is not a context appropriate descriptor of what is happening.

I’d be like Troy meeting LeVar Burton: catatonic, followed by panic and feelings of inadequacy.

Just anything at all besides almost literally #notallwhitewomen.

I’ve realized that my greatest achievement in life is probably that Ms. Fisher once “liked” a tweet I twitted.

My parents used to give me tips on how to improve my tantrums. “No, honey, you need to flail your arms more!” That worked wonders at getting me to stop, apparently.

Literally no one worked harder and more directly to prevent “all this Trump bullshit” than Hillary Clinton.
