I only know the butt stuff about poppers. What ‘side effects’ are there and where can I uh. Get some?

/cheer /cheer! That’s a splendid selection of 2019 classics. Though something feels conspicuously absent above... hmm... can’t quite place my finger on it...

Annie Murphy! Deserves! An! Emmy!

First few episodes are a little broad. Too much focus on the “look at these rich folks in the poor town!” aspect. But it’s still funny. It gets remarkably better by the end of the first season and then rockets up to fantastic once they start committing to *and this isn’t a spoiler* trying to live there. Also, watch it

They’re going to debut a new coconut-covered Twinkie called a Bearie.

My saintly grandmother kept a loaf of Sara Lee poundcake in the fridge and would serve that to us as dessert when we stayed over as kids.

One of the only Sniglets (look it up, young’uns) I ever coined was “Twinkilingus”, defined as the act of licking the cream filling out of a Twinkie.

I do miss living in a house where you could bump a new song without upsetting the neighbors, but now I’m in a small apartment in Alaska and I’ve learned the value of a really nice set of studio monitor headphones.  I still miss my giant house speakers that felt like they could knock the air out of you when the bass

I mean the same could be said with LP1.

Between Hollow Knight, Breath of the Wild, Horizon Zero Dawn and Night in the Woods, 2017 sparked a massive amount of gaming joy in me.

I think that’s only clichéd in pretty hardcore gaming circles. “Important” is of course, a bit of a weasel word. You have to define it somehow. For me the most fair way to define “important” seems to be some balance of degree of impact on other games and the breadth of that impact on gaming and popular culture as a

I’m surprised they didn’t put an indie game anywhere on the list. I think the 2010's are the decade where indie games really broke out and became a viable thing. I play a lot of AAA titles, but my most played game on the Switch has been Stardew Valley.

1. Mass Effect is one of the best game series ever made, even if it peaks at the end of the second game. They’re basically friendship simulators with a shooting mechanic, and it’s all delightful.

He could just be a white Latino. Maybe not Latino, but Spanish, who are generally white and would likely have that surname.

Oh god, I’m going to be rewatching the other 5 seasons this week. I‘m really doing that to myself. I was kinda vaguely aware this was what I was going to be doing, but seeing the observatory is now reminding me how much this is going to hurt.

Off topic, but I think a Jhonen Vasquez avatar counts as avatar comment synergy in this context.

It’s because of Selena that I seeked out and liked the Pretenders.

I remember going to a state fair and while I was there was these spanish acts going on with a mexican rodeo. Reluctantly went in with my group to check out things and saw this woman bare midriff signing in spanish and end of the song speaking spanglish to the audience. She was enchanting.

Either commit to it or not.  The Season 2 ended with the cliff hanger about the conspiracy. Season 3 sidelined the conspiracy with the main characters strangely uninterested in it. By the finale almost nothing has progressed.
