Thanks! Decided on the regular version, handheld-only just sounds like too big a sacrifice.

*blows dust off account*

I thought Bernie was a little over the top. I mean she screams anytime someone talks to her. And then it happens over and over in every different support.

I was really slow and recruited a lot and it took me about 50 hours to get to the thing. Seems many people beat the game in 60. So I’m not a good gauge.

I’m also playing Three Houses exclusively this week. Golden Deer house here. We don’t have Bernadetta, instead we have another girl with an even MORE intense case of self-loathing, Marianne. My wife is playing through with the Blue Lions house and they don’t have anyone there like Bernie or Marianne, but they’ve got

Ashe was my only miss on Edelgard route. I did it to myself though. Had him at B support so he would most likely have just randomly joined. But I stupidly asked him to be our extra fighter for the last month. Apparently that prevents joining. And then it was too late.

If budget is tight, the Lite is a fine machine, but to me, the loss of the ability to EVER play on the TV is kind of a big deal. If you buy the “normal” one and want to play handheld 99% of the time, it’s still good that you COULD put the image on the TV I would think. If she likes RPGs, probably Fire Emblem and

I definitely recommend getting the regular version and a pro-controller. It’s so very nice to have the freedom to play on the TV and on the go when it warrants. It’s also nice when you’ve been playing a game in handheld mode for awhile, then you get home and plug it in to the TV right in the middle of what you were

I finally beat Hollow Knight! I got the Void Heart, and defeated the Radiance after many, many tries. I didn’t do any of the Godmaster content, because I don’t like boss battles in general, and I think the boss battles in HK specifically are too long, but I’m feeling good about the 20+ hours I was able to get out of

Hey guys, I’m hoping to get some advice from someone who knows about these things. My wife has been casually mentioning (i.e. dropping hints) about how much she wants a Nintendo Switch and I’m going to get her one for Christmas this year. But I’m torn on whether I should get her the Switch Lite or the regular version.

Yes, Coco has one of the most interesting character arcs of the season. She came across as having aims and motivations even if she wasn’t always great at expressing them.

I would hate to see this show go off the air. The visual style is still one of the most distinct in TV. And let’s be honest, Euproia straight up jacked Dear White People’s episode character introductions. I mean Zendaya during narration is no Gincarlo.

Aw man, I really liked this show! Still gonna see this season though, ‘cause even without narrative momentum and plot, I just love the world, the colour palette, the cinematography, everything

I always loved the little tidbit that it was Silverstone herself who did not know how to pronounceHaitians” correctly. Heckerling left it in the final cut. Good stuff.

but how do you know that since Netflix does not release viewership data? I liked Tuca&Bertie, it was like Broad City, but maybe Netflix is not the right place for the show. lately the quality is spiralling down so quickly I can’t see what’s gonna happen when the others will come in. I’m already appreciating HBO much

Netflix is sorta losing its identity now. Do they want only instant hit shows? Do they want critical acclaim? What will they have to offer when Disney and Warner show up to the party?

Season 3 never hooked me the way the first two did. It’s still some of the best television out there, but I definitely felt like I needed to commit to getting through it.

I never finished Season 3. I was in the midst of some INTENSELY unpleasant workplace transitions, and watching a show about someone’s workplace being very literally violently taken over was giving me panic attacks. I keep meaning to pick it back up again, but then I just picture David Thewlis as Varga and I kick the

It’s possible. It definitely had a different feeling, and it took me a bit to get fully on board, but I ended up really appreciating how it was a different story.

I wish Melissa McCarthy the best. She’ll be cute. It’ll be cute.
