Marina’s always been my favorite of the “cynical female pop star” genre of the last decade or so, but her recent tracks have lacked the cynicism that defined a lot of her older lyrics.

I dunno, I think it’s just a nice alternative for pop music fans who prefer their music a little more somber or dark over whatever the new, sparkly single is from Ariana Grande (no shade to Ariana; it’s not like she’s incapable of it either, “Breathing” was a criminally underappreciated jam about anxiety). I think…
I guess maybe I don’t quite understand the distinction between EP and LP sometimes. Don’t Smile at Me is one of those releases that I’m really not sure which it is.
It’s crazy that this is Billie Eilish’s debut, I feel like she’s been releasing tons of music for years already.
Ah, that’s right. I’m not the biggest Shannel, so I forgot about that look. It wasn’t really very sexy though, more matronly. I think someone could show her up.
Update on my Breath of the Wild game. All four divine beasts are toast, and I’ve gotten the Master Sword, so I guess storming Hyrule Castle for the end game is the next big step. But I still have so much to do, I’ve only discovered like half of the shrines, only scratched the surface on side quests, only found two…
Ru’s look was giving me Fruit Stripe gum.
My YouTube algorithm happened to show me the Truth Hurts music video about a year ago and I’ve been a huge fan ever since.
I feel split on Joel McHale. I think he offered generally good critiques and praise to the girls, but he overestimated how much bro energy was needed on this show. I must say, I was thoroughly entertained by every shot of Michelle giving him side eye.
That’s my favorite song! It’s the best song Nick Cave never wrote for the Murder Ballads album.
I’m so excited to hear this and also see her live this spring! “Red Bull & Hennesssy” is pagan witch magic and I love it.
You misspelled East Cameron
Damn, between this and Jane the Virgin heading into its final season, this is a tough year for latinos on TV. :(
Hey, I’m playing Hollow Knight for the first time, too! Prepare to fall in love with it. I especially love the art, it reminds me of Edward Gorey, one of my favorite children’s book authors/illustrators. He’s probably the reason I have such a dark sense of humor.
I disagree 100%. She came for Silky this week for the exact same reason she defended Silky last week. If you’ve got the guts to talk to Ru about the other queens, or in this case, the other queens’ decision to choose Britney in the challenge, then you should have the guts to tell that queen to their face. Silky not…
My progress in Breath of the Wild: 32 shrines, 1 divine beast, and 20 Korok seeds down. I’m finding I’m hitting a plateau. A lot of the early game areas are pretty well explored and done, but I’m finding a lot of the new areas to be pretty difficult, so I’m wondering what the natural path of progression is.
Nina absolutely deserved her win for her leadership, improv skills, and stunning runway. That said, Yvie once again stole the runway show. That jelly look elicited a raucous cheer from the bar I was watching from. I mean... in Denver, but still, she’s proving herself to be the queen to look out for.
The header image of him about to smooch Tyler Posey only exacerbates this issue.
Not gonna lie, I really wanna check this series out based solely on how attractive I thought Avan Jogia is in all the promo ads and trailers. I still have no idea what the premise is.
I got a Switch last week from a bonus I got at work, along with Breath of the Wild and Hollow Knight. So I’m only two years behind the rest of the gaming world.
