Also, I was so over Ra’Jah’s fabricated drama this episode. No, girl, the real drama is that Ariel is the only queen who had the guts to own up to her shit talking to Ru over Silky, not that Yvie called everyone else on it. You may think you’re 100% “that bitch” but your actions say otherwise. 

Surprised by how much I enjoyed the Get Out sketch, basically carried by Scarlet and Yvie’s scenery chewing. In the best way possible.

I can understand maybe finding the other the top... theatrics off putting or even cheesy. But for me, that IS Kate Bush, that’s kind of what a lot of us love about her.

The guitar riff definitely sounds similar (so much that I actually thought it was a sample at first), but I don’t think much else about it resembles that song.

Oh, and how much I used to love the old Carmen Sandiego shows, both the game show and the cartoon. Maybe the best example of edutainment that has ever existed.

I was curious about that new Netflix Carmen Sandiego show, so I watched 3 episodes of it last night. It made me remember how much I used to love Sly Cooper video games.

Van Damme’s butt was a work of art, at least in the 80s and 90s it was. My old VHS of Universal Soldier I’m sure had one scene that was especially worn out.

I mean, there’s a difference between her getting grief and her getting death threats or racist messages, which knowing how toxic this fandom has gotten, I’m sure she’s getting. 

The first 3 episodes of the series all had really great musical sequences, but I think “Settle for Me” was the moment I knew I was watching something truly fantastic.

Well, it’s that, but it’s also the fact that they follow a sort of dream logic, almost Lynchian actually. Experiencing it, everything kind of falls into place, but explaining it is a fool’s errand.
