It seems to have been a 2010's trend to have actually-great shows with horrible titles between this, Selfie, Cougar Town, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, Fresh off the Boat, etc.

I mentioned it on the pop album list, but it’s worth it to mention it here as well: I’d also highly recommend Kero Kero Bonito’s Time and Place, a really fun power pop and rock album which was stylistically quite different from their last album which was more electronic, Jpop, video game music inspired.

I forgot about Kimbra! “Top of the World” was one of the best singles of the year!

Yeah, I have to agree. I actually think it’s her best album since Butterfly.

Some good picks, particularly Kali Uchis, Janelle Monae, SOPHIE, and Blood Orange which are also some of my top picks of the year.

Where does everyone fall on the debate of “tamale” vs. “tamal?” The latter sounds much more natural to me.

Emotion IS a perfect album. There is literally no bad song there.

Not to mention that a sizable portion of her fanbase consists of gay men, who couldn’t care less what she looks like. We just love great pop songs. 

Haha, yeah it was great to see him there and props to CRJ for recognizing her fanbase and her LGBT fanbase in particular. She knows we got her back.
