The zoom out after Wayne’s speech to Diane revealing that Mr. Peanutbutter was sitting there the whole time was the best joke of the episode. “I really like that guy!”

They’re all gonna laugh at you! They’re all gonna laugh at you! Plug it up! Plug it up! Plug it up! They’re all gonna laugh at you! We’re very sorry, Cassie. They’re all gonna laugh at you!
I watched this episode last night (in order to keep up with these reviews!) and... “I wanna be an architect” punched me in the gut. I wonder how much of the story Bob-Waksberg and the writers have planned ahead?
Yeah, so I watched episodes 1-3 last night. They’re definitely not as strong as later episodes, but they do a great job of world-building, some solid animal puns and visual jokes, character introductions, etc. They probably could have done a better job of distinguishing themselves from Adult Swim fare, which is…
Hmmm, this is probably a good opportunity for me to revisit season 1. I wonder how these middling early episodes will be on a rewatch with the knowledge of how good this show is once it really finds its footing.

I’m also hoping for some closure to this as well. Not to mention Norma’s mysterious “I don’t have any family” line from Part 15.
So what has been everyone’s favorite Roadhouse performance so far? For me, it was “A Violent Yet Flammable World” by Au Revoir Simone. It’s a great song, and I will also openly admit I like it the most because it reminds me the most of Julee Cruise’s songs for the original series.
In Sonic Mania, I’ll be going back trying to win medallions and Chaos Emeralds. I don’t know why I find those Chase the UFO bonus levels so infuriatingly difficult, but I have the hardest time with them. Overall, the game has been a great nostalgia trip while also feeling fresh, and was well worth the $20. I…
Hi Bud.
Eh, it’s not as intrusive as it sounds. It’s a 15-second cutscene and then you’re on your way. The game is refreshingly 16-bit era in its approach to story and setpieces.
