Oh my goodness. You are a tapas wizard and I actually started drooling.

It's an end-of-summer party that you're supposed to wear all white to, based in the (outdated) idea that white is a summertime-only color for clothes. That's really horrible, I'm sorry to hear it. I actually had to put down my 16-yo cat, Loic, about a month ago, so I can commiserate. :(
Also, I don't know if you're into classic video game music or not, but the Street Fighter II soundtrack is also on Spotify, and I find it to be perfect for exercise. YMMV
Oh haha, okay. Yeah "Gun" is the song with the chorus "Run, run, I have burned your bridges, I will be a gun and it's you I'll come for" so I was sensing a lyrical theme.
When I can be bothered to actually cook, I make delicious, healthy food. The problem is I don't have time or energy for it, usually, during the week. So my choices are eat something easy but not terribly satisfying, or eat out/delivery, which of course, is usually pretty terrible for you.
Just out of curiosity, judging from the two songs you put, do the lyrics need to talk about running?
I binged Crazy Ex-Girlfriend twice over in a two-week period. I can't believe it took me this long to check it out. Rachel Bloom is an actual comedy wizard.
Yeah, I'm going to a white party/pool party this weekend as well. It's a mixed bag. It's always a lot of fun, but with that lingering thought in my mind that summer is ending. :(
Yeah, screw that dude, by the way. You now your own body and your own limitations, so you take your fitness regimen as you see fit. I will never understand why other people think it's appropriate to shame others who are actively engaging in fitness, no matter what stage they're at.
I've never listened to the full thing, so I guess this is my opportunity. I always love when the song finally gets into full swing (right about the time the sax comes in)
After working out at least 5 times a week since February, yesterday it dawned on me that my arms are actually looking pretty nice. So I guess it was nice to get a bit of confirmation that I'm making progress. My torso is looking slightly better too, but I'm still disappointingly soft in the middle. I haven't done much…
Dammmmn, I just saw homeboy's member. Is it too late for me to be cast on that show?
I was having trouble sleeping last night, and at one point I started thinking about how stupid insecurities based off looks or body image are. It was a bit of self-reflection here, because as I talked about last week, when it comes to flirting or approaching people, I tend to destroy my own self-esteem and wuss out.
I've never known I needed to put kimchi on my burger until just now. It kind of seems obvious, now. I've even had a bulgogi topped with Kimchi cheesesteak sandwich before (which was delicious), I should have made that connection then.
I mean, I want to like this, because Rachel Bloom is outstanding, and Crazy Ex-Girlfriend's low ratings are proof that there is no justice in the world, but…Emily Blunt is also pretty great.
Well, it's really more something I put on in the background while I clean or cook or do laundry rather than sit down and give it my undivided attention. As much as they get in a good joke every now and then, the humor style is still pretty dated.
I watch Golden Girls pretty much every night (Logo seems to play it nonstop), and I always find it interesting how socially progressive it can be. It's not terribly consistent (in one episode, Sophia is unable to accept her son's crossdressing, but in another, she's the one who helps Blanche accept that her brother is…
Holy crap, I was okay until that last line. "He simply couldn’t bear the idea of one less smile in the world." I'm crying at work.
Aaaaand now I'm thinking of Sarah Lynne from BoJack Horseman and it made me sad. "I wanna be an architect."
