Man, if only Capcom had added a few more familiar faces to the SFIII roster, it could have had an easier time finding an audience and been a much bigger hit. As much as I appreciate them adding new characters (and many of them were great characters, e.g. Elena, Ibuki, Alex, Urien), a handful of them were rather

If he's at the bottom, the only way left is up!

Seriously, it's killing me. I actually went back and watched quite a few old episodes, and it's amazing how the writers have been playing the long game on this one. They were setting up pieces back in season 1 that come back in this season.

Interesting. Well, at the very least, they share the same commitment to how absurd their setting is. Oh, the baby turned into a pig, who cares how? Oh, touching this flower lets me throw fire, who cares how?

You know, a non-demented version of Wonderland would be a great video game setting (so, as much as I love American McGee's Alice series, I'm not counting it here). It wouldn't even need to be about Alice at all, just the quirky, random and nonsensical characters who live in that world. I have a feeling that Mario's

MPB snapping at Diane was a little jarring considering his usual demeanor. At least he apologized sincerely.

She's usually a pretty ethical, hard working character, so at least it was interesting to see her selfishness peek through, especially considering her own history of being stuck in an assistant job.

This was a brutal one, since Princess Carolyn is my favorite character. In classic Bojack fashion, that shitty thing that character did comes back to haunt them.

I'm imagining a Burger King Crown with the logo crossed off with a red Sharpie

You know, it's always kind of bugged me how many hoops you have to jump through in FFVII to even see Great Gospel. That's the real tragedy of Aeris/th.

Hmm, I guess I see how I'm a little skewed here. Most of the recent RPGs I've played have been Western-developed and mostly open-world games. I really need to pick up a JRPG sometime soon.

Are turn-based RPGs pretty much kaput at this point? I'll admit, it's been a while since I've really been into RPGs, but it seems like all of the more recent ones I've actually played either go for a more real-time action system, or lean a little more heavy into strategy.

I dunno, Steve's not too bad without the Jean-Ralphio hair.

After not playing the game for a couple of weeks, I decided to trace my steps back to the nearest shop to buff up some of my armor. Problem is, I misremembered which status effect he uses to one-hit kill a character. So, 200 Softs later, I have all this Stone-resistant armor on…only to find out he actually uses Zombie

I'm reading this to the tune of "Pinot Noir" from The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt.

Did you beat Shadow Link legit or did you duck in the corner? I ducked in the corner. Not even ashamed. That battle is white knuckle unfair, and I was ready for that game to be over, hehe.

I've never been the biggest Balrog fan, but I know some people can absolutely dominate with him. Juri is awesome. I'm upset Urien isn't out yet (even though he's playable in Story Mode???) as he seems pretty awesome too.

FINALLY beat the boss battle I was stuck on in Final Fantasy X HD (Seymour in Mt. Gagazet). I do not recall having any difficulty with that boss the first time I played that game, so I must have really lucked out or something.

I know him best for going full-frontal in Testosterone. Saved that one in my bank. So…yeah…

We're def gonna compile a Persona discussion party. It'll be just like Gameological Level 1 again!
