A working paper up for discussion and peer review is not a "study." Especially when this working paper relies on nothing but police reports to collect its data.

They make a kimchi flavored Ramune:

I was probably a little too young in the 80s to have a good grasp on the culture (born in 84), but I do think the interior design and props seem especially well done. All the horrible wood panels and wallpapers, boxy, cumbersome electronics, etc.

Man, these first four episodes have been especially cruel to Joyce. This is like a Michigan J. Frog short of Looney Tunes, but with alternate dimensions and horrifying Cronenberg monsters.

Good analysis. BoJack is bleaker in a more human, relatable way, R&M is bleaker in a philosophical way.

I have a hard time deciding which animated TV comedy is bleaker, actually, between BoJack and Rick and Morty.

I hate that Kylie covered it for this movie. And I love Kylie.

But is it La Croix, dear? I like it if it's La Croix.

Well, the first few episodes really go for the obvious jokes and sight gags with the whole "anthropomorphic animals living alongside humans" angle. That gets less and less prominent as the show goes on, and when it does return, it's a lot more clever.

I don't think you're being nitpicky. It's unfortunate that the very rare prominent Asian character in a TV show was cast by a white woman rather than one of the many talented Asian actors who are no doubt looking for work.

I'm excited to start this. I'm not sure how much lower BoJack can go than "Escape from L.A." which was incredibly difficult to watch, so I'm a little nervous to see what happens. I know this is a bleak show, but I hope they let him have a few wins here and there.

So, it's less peanut butter and chocolate and more peanut butter and kim chi?

Isn't it funny how much libertarians love the free market and the rights of private enterprises unless it acts in opposition to their opinions?

Thank goodness some people are still creative when it comes to trailers. Everything just seems to be a supercut of gags and punchlines (especially when the movie is aimed at kids), but something like this gets me way more interested in seeing the movie.

I know hand-to-god lesbians that prefer m/m to anything else just because the mood of it actually seems like the guys are enjoying themselves. That's pretty crazy to think about.

A small decorative object with no real function other than aesthetic.

I've met someone that's in that goofy early stages of flirting, making out, etc. It's a nice change of pace. As someone with a sometimes-low libido, I can often be completely clueless when it comes to flirting and recognizing that someone I'm attracted to could possibly be attracted back, so it's nice when I actually

To be completely honest, your self-awareness at some of the more ugly thoughts you harbor puts you miles ahead of most people in this situation. We all feel like this sometimes.

I dunno. Do we just accept this and move on? I know for the sake of mental health, that's usually the best advice. But at some point don't we say enough is enough?

I don't think Obama is separate from the movement, he's just a politician with a PR team. Every time he's given a speech when an innocent black person or an innocent cop has been killed, I think it's been pretty clear he supports the aims of BLM (via peaceful means)
