OH!

What the…?

Show your work.

I'm pretty new to Judge John Hodgman too, but have been motoring through the archives over the past few weeks. "Bench Warrant" hit close to home, and "Criminal In Tent" features copious use of the word "yurt" which I found comical. "Reckless Endungeonment" introduced me to the fascinating world of RPGs. The list

@Roswulf:disqus There's a moment later on when (trying not to spoil!) Hodgman cracks a joke and Sophie has a priceless reaction. I found it to be hysterical, but it sounds like the kind of thing that might trigger that same sick feeling in you. If you can muscle past it, the role-playing at the end is a huge payoff.

Aw, man. I liked having that huge archive all in one place.
So it goes.

It's good for a snack and fits on your back.

I was ready for violence, but not expecting it. I suspect a richer revenge would be for Narcisse to somehow co-opt Maybelle, replacing the daughter Chalky took from him. Might Narcisse have planted a radical seed in that scene, or am I crazy?

Mix in The Mighty Quinn and The Harder They Come and I might submit a resume.

[Flashes high beams]

I'll see MIA this weekend. Never seen her before. Ready for anything!

They do a fair bit of replication. The kids get some on-camera instruction from whoever created the dish and they're encouraged to ask questions. Good info for a complete amateur like me, and now I want one of those little tin things with divots for making ravioli.

Neil Gaiman and Amanda Palmer are pretty cool. And I helped crowd-source their honeymoon.

…with a love that will echo through the ages.

My high school girlfriend once encountered Trebek on a family vacation. She and her sister (I think they were 16 and 18) posed for a photo with him. Trebek in the middle, one girl on either side. After they said goodbye, they turned to each other and asked, "Did he cup your ass too?"

Stop creating a diversion!

I totally geared up to hate-watch the first episode, hoping it was so bad I wouldn't be able to stomach any more episodes… but yeah, it's actually pretty good. None of the kids are overly precocious, and high fives abound. I'm liking it better than last season's adult version.
EDIT: So, yeah, basically what you said.

Adorable like Eddie Haskell. Something about that little girl makes me uneasy.

From the headline, the lead sentence, or the sequence in which the shows were described in the body of the article?

Marching band geeks just don't have the gumption to kick anyone out of their ska bands.
