There's goo in there? What have I been waiting for?

But which syllable gets the emphasis? I'm asking for a friend.

Nicolas Cage - "Bringing out the Dead."
He sorta gets better, and the tension and stakes aren't terribly high… but there are some great crazy moments.

Please not Boston,Please not Boston,Please not Boston,Please not Boston,Please not Boston,Please not Boston,Please not Boston,Please not Boston,Please not Boston,Please not Boston,Please not Boston…

Is there no ironic rim-shot to fill the void?

But that plotline paid off with the single greatest fictional FBI profile ever.

Does Cary Grant get stuck between floors, wrapped in a rug?  Cuz Tom Hanks made that the funniest thing the 8-year-old me ever saw.

My preferred theater is showing Gravity in 35mm.  Since I don't know what that means, can anyone tell me the pros and cons of seeing a movie like this in this format?

@avclub-4369a7506a50bd14d4540f91219319a7:disqus I perceive the four networks as precisely trying to be all things to all people.  Maybe I'll head back to that feature from last week about the death of specialty TV Networks that I ignored.

Yeah, I clearly don't watch enough big-four network primetime shows to identify the common sensibilities.  But I'm learning.
CBS comedy = soul-crushing.
NBC comedy = SNL alums smart enough not to do movies.
Fox comedy = cartoons.

I think I see what you mean… but do the four major networks really have shows that can't attract an audience just because of which one of the four they're on?  They seem interchangeable to me, and I've never even conceived that viewers might be loyal to a network brand for sitcoms or dramas the same way viewers would

It's not really called Chappie.  That's just what David Lynch calls it.

I really don't understand how a show's network factors into criticism or analysis of the show itself. Or why comparison to another show is made with the added context of the other show's network.

The joke was inside you the whole time.

Aye, matey.

@avclub-2d31cb28609a0ccb044e798fe73c023a:disqus You act coy, but I tan sierra fan of Fargo puns too.

Pun threads make my brainerd.

@avclub-d4cbd55fa3e4c685ef11a383ef0a3fc1:disqus  I'd say the west campus area is still pretty much like that.   Like @avclub-864f4fa60ad5c24d94794b5773339c87:disqus says, that piece of the pie is shrinking, but those wayward meteors mentioned above will always hang around/live at the housing co-ops.

Mike Myers never quite recovered from that.
