When people mention that they want some form of Socialism, they never mean Stalin-style soviet Socialism. They usually mean some form of Social Democracy. However, some people always bring up Venezuela, or Cuba as examples, and that sounds disingenuous.

You only have to connect it to the app when first setting it up, and then once a month to validate the subscription. You don’t connect to the app every time you ride.

Does it need a good connection to the phone and internet at the time of impact? Plenty of us ride where we have a sat com because there is no signal. Also seen a few damaged cell phones because of simple tip overs in the middle of a ride. Would be silly to have a safety device not work if your phone was damaged,

Capitalism makes a better case for socialism than socialism ever could.”

Call it what it is: late stage capitalism.

Except Perez was in first at the time of the incident. Yes, he hadn’t pitted yet and eventually finished fourth. But he was mms away from wrecking the race leader.

Unlike my closet, which might hold 4oo rolls of toilet paper, there is a definite limit on fuel tank capacity, so rush buying is only a problem from a shortage of supply versus consumption. Toilet paper was stored far in excess of consumption.

Saw the perfect saying this morning:

Wait, so if you have a shit job you’ve been paying shit wages for and not hiring new people there’s not enough people to do the job when needed?

Maybe not in 2020, but Bottas has had some major crashes before, and Hamilton has also parked a car in the barriers once every two years or so, and they are going to have to lap Mazepin a lot, so not pricing that in would be negligent.

This is awful. I’ve set up a GoFundMe page for the Mercedes team. Please donate what you can.

I would just like to be the first person that questions the serious drug charges. That just is there, with no question, when clearly the cops are bad at their jobs. What are the charges, are they ACTUALLY serious, or was it *Black person with a joint*? Also, did they even have the right person here? Is she being

A Tesla would absolutely be on my shopping list if it weren’t for all the nausea-inducing stans constantly crying bloody murder ever time anything less than positive is written about the company.  No way I want to be a member of that clan.

We know it isn’t full self driving because Tesla explicitly tells you you still need to be prepared to drive the car. It’s in Tesla’s own literature, we KNOW how they feel about the capabilities of their software.

You’re describing partially self-driving, not full self-driving.

It seems strange that these systems somehow get a free pass to go out and give it a go, why not, when other companies testing autonomous driving systems have to get permits in most states, including Tesla’s home state of California. If this is really supposed to be “full self-driving,” why would these cars not need

That is not the point at all. This has nothing to do with its capabilities. It has everything to do with the fact that it still requires full vigilance from the driver, and as such is not a full self-driving system. Read the damn article. It’s free!

I think you’re on the wrong site here

No.

No corporation operates this way. Oh wait, they don’t have pensions anymore. They use 401k’s so all the risk is on the employee.
