This show is weird. I genuinely enjoy it — and this season was so much better than the first, but a lot of the writing is flat-out terrible.

I'm really surprised that this show might actually turn out to be good.

Is it just me, or does it make zero sense that this is only going to be 10 episodes? He's a YOUNG Pope! You need like 4 seasons to flesh this out properly.
As someone who hates golf, I can't help but appreciate how atrociously dressed Box is when he's hitting the links.
Once she was appeared alone with Lord Frey, I suspected it pretty strongly.
Nah, she's a skilled assassin now. But seriously, she must have an Uber account or something.
The Faith Militant are idiots.
I love Arya and everything that she does. But, like, can we at least get some sense of how she got to the Riverlands so quickly? Eh, I'm quibbling. Incredible finale.
Fitting that Margaery was the smartest person in the room until the very end.
Very uncharitable reading, in my opinion. Mackie's MLK is the quintessential realist throughout the movie. Always knowing that if he wanted anything out of LBJ he'd have to "hold his feet to the fire". As for the whitesplaining, that's just the way things work in this country. "We lost our gay"
The writing on this show will probably always be terrible, but I love Paul Giammati and Damien Lewis. I also generally enjoy "lawyer stuff", I'll probably keep watching this show.
Dennis, are you gonna hurt women?
Maureen Ponderosa was hilarious, and I've never loved her as a character. Her chasing the laser pointer around had me on the floor.
I thought the episode started off great and kind of petered out towards the end. Whatever. For this show to still be so good in its 11th season is incredible.
I know most people don't care, and I'm sure others have mentioned — but the election results were ridiculous. A Democratic presidential nominee losing Minnesota? Meyer shocked that she won Washington state?
Can we get a little more talk about how this is the first time in this entire series Jon Snow was really, really cool?
A would be horrible and make me feel like I've wasted my time. B could be very cool, I'm glad you mentioned it. But I have a nagging feeling there's a C. That she's not a charlatan but some other nonsense will come along and ipso facto turn her on her head — or whatever. Whatever it is, it obviously won't be resolved…
Every episode I watch I pretty much love how everything develops, and then I think to myself: How the F is Stannis' evil fire witch going to factor into all of this? However she does, I feel like I'll hate it.
