Well, it would merit anger if she was being serious- and it's poorly written enough that it's pretty easy to interpret it as serious.

If this is satire/entirely sarcastic it isn't very well done. It's not quite ridiculous enough to be unbelievable, not all that funny even if you know it's satire, and way too long and scattered to want to read. And I'm still not sure that it IS 100% sarcastic. It reads more like it's meant to be funny-but-true.
It is actually possible for people to disagree with you about what's funny and still have a sense of humor. I like lots of self-deprecating and inappropriate humor. This just happens to be drivel, not humor.
How exactly did she "string you along?" She told you she had a boyfriend, she never expressed any interest in you. Also, what did you find so great about her, considering she treated you like that? Maybe because she was your ideal "hot" girl and you don't care that she has a shitty personality? You two deserve each…
"Don't fat bash" doesn't translate to "don't lose weight". The whole point is that society should stop judging people's bodies, however they are. And that everyone should do whatever feels right for their body, regardless of what society thinks. You can be a person who has lost weight and still be pro fat acceptance-…
I think you can tell she's cute from the shoulder shot, oddly.
Now that I've read the article I feel really bad about the level of drooling that ensued when I saw the picture of him on the front page. :/
You're missing the point. ALL women's bodies are objectified- often more so if they're celebrities. It's rare that a man actually experiences objectification, and for D'angelo it goes away if he stops being an incredibly hot celebrity. Women who lose their shit and gain 100 pounds are still going to be objectified…
Hell, it happens to me when I'm with guys, too. There have been a few amusing moments where someone yelled 'Hey, beautiful!' or similar at me and my male best friend yelled back "Thanks!!"
Hehe. But just a BIT :)
Er. . .maybe he was actually more attracted to her than he was to you? Just because you consider her 'not very attractive' doesn't mean everyone agrees with you.
. . .Because the only thing more scientific than this study is obviously, "When Harry Met Sally"
NooooOoOOo. Whatever will I sing at karaoke now???
I'm sorry, but that has nothing on:
I honestly do believe that it can be a little hard to define, because it's kind of a 'you know it when you see it', thing. There have been times when men have given me compliments that I appreciated, that another woman might legitimately have found harassing; like if they yell something across the street that's not…
For awhile, I was considering caring around the complete works of Gloria Steinem, and then every time some guy whistled at me like a dog I would follow him around for the next hour reciting from it. Yknow, if I'm going to have to hear his unsolicited thoughts about my ass, he should have to hear mine about the…
Not wanting to have one night stands has nothing to do with maturity. Not to say you're not mature, but plenty of mature people enjoy one night stands.
I don't know why they bothered doing all this research on the "type" of woman you can get to fuck you. Won't any woman have sex with you right away if you promise her a baby?
YAY. :)
You don't have to 'promote obesity in any way'. But you could also just keep your mouth shut.
