You should market that as the new "Paleo Diet". The Way Cavemen Ate: When they were hungry, and not based off of anything they read in a book. 'Cause there were no books.

But do mice who don't eat 'high fat, high calorie' food also benefit from the 16-hour fast? Or do they wind up underweight and unhealthy?
Hell, I'm about that slutty anyways!
You don't want someone who will make you delicious pastries or amazing cocktails near your vagina? Send 'em on over to mine, we're open for business!
A lot of the descriptors are gender neutral, and one woman's answer is "all men" so I assume she's a lesbian. SORT of heteronormative but not entirely.
Remember that guy on the "Why Men Hate Being Called Creepy" article who said he and all of his friends have been unjustly called creepy by women despite their total innocence and Niceness, and now they're all happily married to foreign women?
I agree with you that that comment was off, but preoccupation? That's the first time I've ever seen anything remotely along those lines on this site.
Two non-coffee-specific things that I think might explain this:
Wait- EVERYONE is going to die?
Hmm, who is more demonstrably annoying, A. A theoretical set of young people who you haven't even met or interviewed or B. Someone making condescending comments on the internet intended to make young people feel hopeless?
Another thought: I also don't think that just because someone is doing the "oh I only date boys but I make out with girls in bars" thing they're necessarily not bisexual. I bet a lot of girls legitimately feel same-sex attraction, but feel that the 'tee hee be hot for boys' kind is the only socially acceptable way…
I know it's hard, but I really think it's worth doing. I think it's really important to allow people to define their sexuality however they want to, whether those people are stupid and annoying or not.
Agreed. Unless your 'job' is an unpaid internship, in which case it is actually illegal for them to make you fetch coffee and make copies all day. I think more people not to start addressing that if we want the unpaid internship system to get less fucked up!
RE #16: I wish this had been phrased as "The time to use being Buddhist, bisexual, or libertarian as the sole means of defining your identity is over".
Everytime I read something by Lindy I love it, but then I get sad because I know that Lindy will never actually be my friend in real life.
It's silly to tell people they shouldn't take unpaid internships. Just because you're rich doesn't mean you shouldn't do what it takes to get ahead in the field you want to work in. What SHOULD happen is that the laws about unpaid internships- that they have to be of more use to the intern than the company, and can't…
There would be if it was a woman they don't like, like Paula Deen.
Also: the thing that drives me nuts about the 'girls like bad boys' stereotype is that it represents all women as completely innocent blank slates with no characteristics of their own. It's this image of a wide-eyed virgin searching for a Good Man To Give Her Babies and picking the Evil Bad Man instead. Maybe I'm more…
This is one of the stupidest studies I've ever seen. For the first one, how the hell could you possibly tell from an online dating profile who's "reliable" or not? And why are the sexy guys necessarily 'unreliable?' And the second one is still wildly subjective; I'm willing to bet that the 'reliable dad' characters…
But will Adam Scott accept an offer to marry me?
