Body acceptance. Now that I've lost a lot of weight and developed good exercise habits, I'd like to get to a point where I can be happy and healthy without delivering myself a huge guilt trip everytime I eat a cookie, and don't still constantly think as if I'm trying to lose weight.

@AwwwwShiz: Weight watchers still teaches you to look at food as "points" rather than as just foods. Very similar to obsessive calorie counting, which can be helpful when trying to lose weight, but not as a lifelong way of living. Certainly not at 9 years old.

I think people are being a bit quick to assume she's equating femininity with all womanhood. She's talking more about her experience with fighting off her feminine inclinations, and assuming rightly that that's an experience many women share. That doesn't mean she thinks women who feel no inclination towards this…
