Whattabout Satellite Phones?
And the all time BMW joke is: "I just had a BMW pull up beside me and turn on his turn signal then get over... should I call the police and report it stolen?"
There's a difference between being unable to drive and driving erratically, than just being a complete and intentional asshole on the road. Therein, lies the difference.
My favorite BMW joke is "I saw a BMW come up next to me and turn on his blinker to change lanes. Should I call the cops and report it stolen?"
Can we also fill this box with the people, that see a pristine condition version of the muscle car they have rotting out in the backyard that is only a middle and back shell (and missing the whole frontend and all engine/tranny/gauges/interior) go for $25,000 and somehow think their 2/3rd's of a shell is still worth…
I agree, the best part of all of these posts, is that it is putting police officers on watch, and that their behavior may (and hopefully will) have consequences. Especially in the digital age where there are so many people with phones, video taping arrests and being able to provide evidence of police wrongdoing and…
This obviously comes from someone who's only knowledge and interaction with police officers is from sensational articles posted by Gawker. The VAST majority of police officers are just good honest people, that do an EXTREMELY difficult, dangerous, and unrewarding job for very little pay. They have to interact on an…
But going by Gawker's rampant and egregious amount anti-police topics, you'd wonder if there was a single good cop out there (hint, the vast majority of them are).
That's no Dale Gribble, that's Rusty Shackleford. There is no Dale Gribble, forget you ever even heard that name.
You win my version of the internet for today!
Will try to long story short this. I had been through many sports cars and the like, and was looking for something different. Got a wild hair to get a old Muscle Car, and wound up picking up a beautiful 1973 Ford Mustang Mach 1, yellow with black stripes:
I think he was fishing for an easy catch. Butter you up with flattery, explain his many "virtues" which are basically being well educated, going to a prestigious university, and having a good job lots and lots of money. Then right off the bat, seeing if a dick pick will seal the deal for a casual sex partner.
Well, if they do it out of spite, I can somewhat respect that. But if it's a "ooh, I'm old and feeble, I don't want to break my hip accelerating too fast, and I'm scared to drive the speed limit, wet conditions scare me!" And then they get a high performance rear wheel drive sports car.......
The correct answer most certainly has nothing to do with the word "Corvette" in it. Dear god, please no more old folk driving Corvettes. They will NEVER drive them like they are meant to be driven, they will accelerate on par with a minivan (unless they are having a heart attack), and they will always be just a few…
I just picked up an 87 300zx on a whim for $700. Got a nice sparkle orange paint job, just needs an engine wiring harness redone! This would be my 4th 300zx, great cars, always loved them.
Can anyone confirm what the first post on the Liveleak video's page is saying about Strelkov boasting about shooting down a An-26 before they knew it was a civilian airliner? http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=9fe_140…
Not that I know of. I just found the exact same card that I already had (same manufacturer and model number, etc.) before putting them both in the PC, using the little SLI bridge ribbon cable that come with most all video cards in the past many years, and booted the computer on and it was all good to go.
