Maybe. But violence is endemic in prison. So the difference is not likely very significant.

They don’t give a shit about protecting any other inmate from the consequences of having their prison information publicly available. Plus, they usually put celebrities and high-profile prisoners, especially if they’re former cops/COs, in special high-security areas as a matter of routine.
But its not like everyone doesn’t know his beedy little eyes at this point. and if, like Anna suggests, it is to keep him from being attacked by family members of his victims, it’s not like his victims can’t still get that info to their family, regardless of the fake name.
Hopefully keeping him in solitary confinement with the lights on for 23 hours per day and feeding him Nutraloaf.
Because rape is almost never prosecuted in India, not successfully anyway. He is human garbage that should be slowly tortured to death, he knew he could get away with it so he did it because India has barbaric, primitive social policies and laws regarding women’s rights and protections. You think it’s hard for women…
Everyone is at risk in prison. People are hurt and murdered in prison all the time. So unless they're outing everyone in protective custody, this isn't fair.
His info still needs to be listed for the victims, just like any other criminal. I would also be interested to know how they decide who gets this hidden treatment.
Need some kind of Bat-signal equivalent to call the ladies in pink saris to come beat the shit out of these motherfuckers.
Yeah, I’d be curious as to whether or not other former police get similar treatment due to them being at a high risk of assault from inmates.
Leonardo DiCaprio gazed knowingly (as if he knows something), Laverne Cox brought her charm, and the most…
Earlier this week, the Oklahoma Department of Corrections removed former cop and convicted rapist Daniel Holtzclaw…
No, he thought she was “ruined” so a bit more wouldn’t hurt. Not like he violated a virgin or anything. And why should anyone believe a girl reporting rape right and left? She’s obviously making stuff up to justify her sluttiness.
my family is from patna, and i agree, it’s a terrifying place for women. my parents moved us (my sister and i) to the states because of the large amount of religious and sectarian violence that was happening there in the early 90's. that violence is still happening, but it seems to be combined with a steady increase…
Fucking Hell, January, 2016. You were the actual worst.
Oh I fucking quit. I cannot process how the fuck there are people this evil just walking among us. Fuck these people, I hope their dicks are slowly eaten away by necrotizing fasciitis.
aw, thanks! we’ve been here for 21 years now, and it’s mostly been good (post 9/11 months were a little scary). i hear americans talk about fleeing america if so-and-so gets elected and i’m certain that i wouldn’t want to live anywhere else. the united states is so diverse—the things that happen in india would never…
I just wish a gigantic accident would overtake these horrible people. Like, I don’t want to kill them, because I don’t think we should kill people, but I would really like to see them dead. If that makes me a hypocrite I don’t care.
Belated welcome to the USA! I hope you and your family are happy here. Thanks for helping us build America.
