Well there are only a few convertibles available for under $30,000. There isn't much choice in that category.

I'm quite thankful that Studebaker reversed the decision to cancel the Hawk, and decided to spend a small amount to modernize it into the Gran Tourismo Hawk.

Were Facel Vega's ever imported? They should be on the list if they were.

But the Brute is over $70,000. If the Gladiator made it, it would be less than $30,000

I agree, my old s10 would spin out in the rain if you weren't careful. A new set of good, all terrain tires helped a little, but it would still squirm when wet.

Small trucks like the s10. No weight in the back, and tiny bald tires at the rear, you would spin out in the rain if you weren't careful.

The Studebaker Lark was the ultimate sleeper. It was the first successful American compact car, with a the lowest base price in the U.S. But if spent a little more, you could get a 275 horsepower V-8, which set several speed records.

LOWEY DID NOT DESIGN THE STARLINER! Robert "Bob" Bourke designed it while Lowey was in France. Lowey only gets the credit because he was the manager of the design department.

At first I thought the latest Malibu was bloated and hideous, but in real life, it's just normal.

My favorite Stevens' design was the Studebaker Sceptre. It was supposed to be the sucessor to the Hawk, but only made it to the prototype stage when Studebaker folded.

One of my favorite Steven's designs is the Studebaker Sceptre Prototype. It was made as a replacement for the Hawk, but Studebaker went bankrupt after only one prototype was made.
