There's a German company called Mechatronik that puts modern AMG engines and suspensions into these. Their craeations are purely amazing.

1950's station wagons, any type. Awesome styling, yet very versatile and practical for the whole family when equipped with a modern drive train.

The most powerful American car, up until the early 1950's. More than 300 hp was bat shit crazy back then

Destroy all proof that the Cadillac Cimarron ever existed.

If you think about it, it is the only convertible that is not sitting on the ground (asside from Nissan's abomination), and the cheapest convertible available. How many Jeep owners actually take their vehicles off road anyway?

In 2004 A friend traded in a 2001 Firebird t-top for a 2000 Grand Prix because it rode smoother. What 17 year old doesn't want a t-top Firebird? Why am I friends with this guy?

I beg to differ.....

Early 50's Bentley Continental. Here is a 1953:

I LOVE THESE. Ok, they are way too big, this car should have no more than 20 in., but the style is so crazy it's cool.

I want to like them so much just for the creativity, but these didn't turn out. I would like to see some other designs with only one spoke. It could be cool if done right. Reminds me of a Citroen DS:

Because Studebaker.

The very first road trip car, driven by Bertha Benz, as told in a previous Jalopnik post here. No doubt it changed the whole course of history, but it is not exactly a comfortable or reliable ride.

Surprised no one has said the chrysler town and country or its caravan sibling. Comfortable ride, decent mileage, endlessly configurable interior, and more storage and passenger space than some buses. I have taken dozens of road trips in them and there is nothing better.

Although town cars are not generally tasteful, I give you the Cord L'29. No matter what body style it has, it's always tasteful.

Lincoln's Continental. Pretty much every year was tasteful (Weird 70's and 80's limited edition "styling" packages excluded).

You get a fast muscle car, with a personal luxury interior. All in one classy package. Studebaker GT Hawk.

I'm usually a Hyundai hater, but I have to say the Equus has the nicest interior I've ever rode in. Much better than the 2012 7 series.

It would be so boring and ugly without it. No one wants their last ride to look like a delivery van. I know that's basically what they are, but they need something to differentiate them from panel vans

:)

Easy. Porsche. Because: Porsche = Sex.
