"Mr. Aveo... I had a Geo Metro... and let me tell you this... you are no Geo Metro."

I'm always taken aback at the raw hatefulness heaped on unpretentious cars like the little Aveo.

"We at Ford suggest when buying a truck you seriously consider that one single and relatively insignificant aspect of our truck is superior.

See [Vectrix.com] for an American made electric cycle that's available now... at an equally breath-taking price.

I actually like the ad — it's fun, youthful and positive..x targeting an active, athletic, fairly male demographic.

@Packa: "cars have a primary purpose, and that's to get people where they want to go. Get over it."

trying desperately to add sex appealto a car that has none... kinda hot though.

Oh yeah:

These are the ugly cars I've loved, or not:

This discussion is about American-osity... so I'm suprised to see the Focus on the list...aren't they build in two plans, mostly in Mexico?

Send it to Tulsa, bury that sucker, and use the very same wrapping and storage techniques used on the Belvedire.

I love the way Cadillac has only reluctatly given up the fins... you can still trace the receding fins into even recent Cadillacs... I'd love to see them return in some cool way.

My mother had one of these... it ended up my being my brothers... he rolled it right in front of the hospital, lucky for him.

My mom had one... she LOVED it. We'd skip the glow plugs most of the time and just try to start it right up... and it would.

I'm wondering if I'm the only one who was disappointed in the coverage at Tulserama... the tone seemed very small town. Despite the Belvedere having drawn attention from around the world, the spokes-people seemed pretty lame in their attempts to over-hype an event that actually speaks for itself.

First of all, they SHOULD bury something else. This whole thing has been captivating... and it's done everything and MORE than the folks who buried the car could have dreamed.

+1 for thin roof pillars

These would make a great name for a rock band:
