I disagree about Grease. Sandy wanted to grow up and shed her goody image. It's more influenced by the distain of the Pink Ladies than anything Danny did.

I read both and they are not even remotely similar. Maybe the authors first draft was more Twilightish but she reworked it into it's own story.
