My junior prom, a friend asked me to be his date. Then, he got back together with the girlfriend he’d recently broken up with, we mutually decided he should go with her (I went alone) and then his girlfriend won Prom Queen.

They look as happy to be at Prom as at the SAG - just enjoying time together. Very sweet.

I learned it in 1985. It’s ugly, but I can still do it. I generally don’t unless it’s my signature. Even then, I just wing it like a doctor.Could never get z or q quite right.

I recently found a short story I wrote in 2nd grade. My 7 yr old self’s penmanship was better than Avery’s. Course this was ‘81.

In fairness, he spends most of his time in prison practicing how to cut and paste messages from newspapers and magazines.

He has significant cognitive impairments which likely affected his fine motor skills, including his handwriting.

I started Kindergarten back in 1991 and went to fucking Catholic school, and they didn’t teach us cursive. My parents taught me at home, and while my handwriting is legible, it’s hideous. It truly is a dying art.

My nightmares seem to revolve around legal issues, but oh god, yes, predators are another one.

I mean if you’re brought up to believe you don’t have ownership over your own body because your parents hit your body with sticks, maybe-just-maybe it’s harder to set up appropriate boundaries with romantic/sexual partners, huh?

this is a thing, you know. teens are being charge with distributing child porn when sending nude pics of themselves. i don’t think the comment was out of line.
