In their defense, he did do that.

The movies seem to forget that Sam isn’t super-powered and that things like explosions and gravity should turn him to jelly. I forget which movie it’s in but he falls through a window and drops several stories — without his wings — with no ill effects at one point.

It’s cool that Sam will be taking up the shield but, at the most basic level, how will his performance stack up against Steve’s when he has to fight without the super serum?
