Yes, also make them take credit cards and lose the app, just like gas pumps. Maybe when all the WalMarts add chargers I might actually contemplate an EV.

Door handles that open doors are not disruptive enough.

Why is the standard interior door handle not a mechanical release in the first place? That seems pretty f-ing stupid.

I pretty much agree with you here, but the other problem that nobody seems to address is the fact that a lot of new cars, mostly EVs, have changed the basic use of their vehicles. Everyone knows how to hop in an older ICE vehicle, put it in gear, and use all the things required to drive (wipers, turn signals, HVAC).

Hertz are scumbags for sure, but this is why the EV revolution is not viable as it stands right now. This would never have happened with a real car, worst case would be a recovery guy came out with a can of gas. But really, they could have been back on the road again with a two minute stop at any number of gas

Someone will pay what the seller wants, especially if they have documentation proving it only has 37,000 miles. Vintage trucks are about as easy to sell to Americans as apple pie and invasions of developing nations. Nice price.

I sure as hell use mine.

So your sample size of one is enough to tell you that all of the BSM systems are poorly integrated?

so much more cool to own”

One of motorsport’s long running jokes is that it’s a competition of who can fudge the rules the best, and while Majeski’s crew gave it the good ol’ college try, they came up short.

Dumbest thing you’ve heard of, so far....

The idea that you’ll only be able to move from park to reverse to drive via a touchscreen is maybe the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard of in any car.

Overall, the car has 37,000 miles on the clock. That’s not a lot for any normal car, but Ferraris seem to age in dog years, so that’s a hefty number for any Prancing Horse to bear.

Seriously. Relying on Electrify America is not going to do them any favors.

Where are the owners going to find a working charger to get that car charged so quick?

And honestly, picking up a checked bag is not as big of a hassle as folks make it out to be.”

Counterpoint: if you’re already self-aware enough to know you’re going to inconvenience someone who paid (more or less) the exact same price to occupy the exact same amount of space as you, but you’re occupying 20% of theirs - spring for the Comfort+ seats. I don’t enjoy forced cuddling and nor should I be required to.

Ewww. Anyway if you don’t fit reasonably into one of the cheap seats there are usually wider seats in one or two other classes you should choose. Same thing goes if you are 6'8". Someone else is spending 75% of their income on a tiny apartment, someone else got cancer, someone paid double for a last minute plane

Next time trying doing this as Goofus and Gallant.

Most of these fall under “if we can’t all do it, none of us should”. One person not moving in line might not matter, but what if everyone did it? One person on speakerphone in a waiting area is no big deal, but what about 300 people doing it? Nobody is special in public.
